Cutting discs are mainly classified into fiber resin cutting discs and diamond cutting discs based on their material.
1. Resin cutting discs use resin as a binder and fiberglass mesh as a reinforcement, combining various materials. They exhibit particularly significant cutting performance for difficult-to-cut materials such as alloy steel and stainless steel. Both dry and wet cutting methods ensure more stable cutting accuracy. Furthermore, the selection of the disc's material and hardness can greatly improve your cutting efficiency and save on production costs.
2. Diamond cutting discs are cutting tools widely used in the processing of hard and brittle materials such as stone, concrete, precast slabs, new and old roads, and ceramics. Diamond cutting discs mainly consist of two parts: the matrix and the cutting head. The matrix is the main supporting part that bonds the cutting head, while the cutting head is the part that performs the cutting during use. The cutting head is continuously worn down during use, while the matrix is not. The cutting head's cutting ability is due to the diamond it contains. Diamond, as the hardest substance currently known, abrades and cuts the workpiece within the cutting head. The diamond particles are encased in metal within the cutting head.
With the increasing number of companies in the machinery industry, more and more mechanical products need to be processed. Usually, the first step in processing each product is to be shaped by cutting blades, followed by subsequent grinding and polishing. After going through a series of processes, it finally becomes a mature product.
