1. Daily inspection
Appearance inspection of cutting wheel
Before using it every day, check whether the appearance of the cutting wheel is worn, cracked or notched. If any damage is found on the surface of the cutting wheel, it should be replaced in time to avoid unexpected situations during the cutting process, affecting the cutting quality or even causing safety problems.
Inspection of cutting wheel installation
Make sure that the cutting wheel is installed firmly and in the correct position. If the installation is not stable, it may shake during high-speed rotation cutting, resulting in reduced cutting accuracy and accelerated wear of the cutting wheel.
2. Regular cleaning
Remove impurities
Regularly (for example, weekly) clean the impurities attached to the cutting wheel, such as material debris and dust left during the cutting process. These impurities may affect the cutting effect of the cutting wheel and may also wear the surface of the cutting wheel. You can use special cleaning tools or compressed air for cleaning.
3. Lubrication and maintenance
Choose a suitable lubricant
If the cutting wheel needs to be lubricated, choose a lubricant suitable for the cutting wheel material and cutting environment. Different cutting wheel materials may have different requirements for lubricants. For example, some cutting wheels may need to use high temperature resistant and corrosion resistant lubricants.
When applying lubricant, pay attention to the right amount to avoid too much lubricant dripping onto the cutting material and affecting the cutting quality.
4. Usage Specifications
Control cutting parameters
When using water jet cutting equipment for cutting, the cutting speed, pressure and other parameters should be reasonably set according to the performance of the cutting wheel and the characteristics of the cutting material. If the cutting speed is too fast or the pressure is too high, the cutting wheel may be excessively worn and its service life may be shortened.
Avoid long-term continuous operation of the cutting wheel, arrange the working and rest time of the cutting wheel appropriately, and prevent the cutting wheel from being damaged by overheating.
5. Storage protection
Environmental requirements
When the cutting equipment is not used for a long time, the cutting wheel should be stored in a dry and clean environment to avoid moisture, oxidation or corrosion by other substances.
A special storage box or protective cover can be used to protect the cutting wheel to prevent it from being hit or squeezed by the outside world.
